20th century Majestic Empire side table/gueridon beechwood, marble, round, black Model after Adam Weisweiler 1780 Solid beech wood painted black with gilded brass bronze. Top plate with brass-framed marble top. Elegant full column legs wrapped with gilded brass fittings. Connected below with solid brass by X-shaped central bar, gilded bronze fittings ending in sabots. A most impressive table, finely carved with billy goat legs in full sklupture gilding.
