Very visually pleasing and appealing totum sculpture from the hand of Dutch artist Rob van 't Zelfde, made in the 1970's. The sculpture is made out of Elm wood and is slightly tapered towards the top. Like TOTEM poles tell a story, this sculpture in particular is a representation of the transformation from a solid form into a liquid, whereas the liquid form transcends into recognizeable shapes such as persons holding and lifting each other or a bird.
