AEGIS 001 is available in 6 choices - 3 nesting tables, 2 nesting tables in two sizes or a single side table in three sizes. This is the set of two nesting tables in the medium size.
The ethos behind the AEGIS collection of bespoke furniture is design that transcends trends or style periods; a timeless design that will last and be passed on for generations to come. The AEGIS collection features sculptural, interactive and conversational pieces that take center stage within any interior. The seamless and polished finish hides a plethora of complexities achieved without compromise. The wires create a lattice effect that weaves and transmutes as you walk around the piece. The effect is further enhanced by the use of the braided wire, which catches the light from different angles. You truly have to experience this effect to appreciate it.
AEGIS 001 tables are perfect as end tables or as stand-alone side tables. They nest comfortably beside a sofa and are the perfect height for your sofa arm. For those areas where no coffee tables are used, the tables can be pulled and placed for individual guests to use. The lattice effect created by the wires will glisten and sparkle and be admired from any angle in the room. You may customise the frame finish and choice of marble. - there may be an additional cost.
A new design from Ziad Alonaizy,AEGIS is a concept-driven modern contemporary design. The golden wires are reminiscent of a birdcage being pried open by hand. Previously an orthopedic surgeon, Ziad Alonaizy acquired distinction from the prestigious Inchbald School of design in London before starting his new career in architectural interior design. Aegis is his first line of furniture.
