Vintage Design

The container was made in the early 1700s in hand-hammered copper. The massive handles are joined to the edge by means of robust rivets, used the copper is of excellent quality, its thickness is very high and makes the solid and robust object (9 Kg weight.!). The appearance is impressive almost medieval. But the thing that makes it even more interesting and attractive container, is the conspicuous repair at the bottom: in the tradition of a simple conception of rural economy, according to which one should not throw anything away, but recovered. The container has copper plate fastened with rivets hammered, so that the functionality of the object could still last many years. The hammered copper has developed a wonderful patina that together with a timeless design make this rare and great object and highly decorative, regardless of where it will be placed will enrich the atmosphere of the space where you find.
