Vintage Design

Beautiful travartino table attributed to Carlo Scarpa for Simon Gavina.
The table is in excellent condition, without particular defects, perfect top without chips or marks.
JF Gallery has contacted Maestro Scarpa's archive and they do not know of this drawing in the archive, but they have not ruled out the possibility.
As far as we are concerned, we have never seen, for now, an original Gavina catalog or advertisement with exactly this table, even if renowned auction houses and dealers certainly assume it is by Scarpa, unfortunately without any credible literal reference.
Therefore we attribute it or define it in Carlo Scarpa style, until proven otherwise.
