1950’s Baumann Bentwood Tri Back Dining Chair – Honey. Classic Beech bistro chair made in France by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child’s chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. Beautifully made and designed. We have cleaned them, thats all. Stunning original patina with lovely honey colour frames and elegant backs. Service and wax. Seat Height 46cm.
