Cotta Coffee Table by Gigi Design

Unique cotta coffee table signed by gigi design dimensions: 120 x 55 x 34 cm materials: natural oak veneer on top, terracotta lacquer with structured effect. Inspiration from italian terracotta, this is the cotta coffee table. To give a natural effect to the lacquer we integrated sand and different materials to give the illusion of the illusion of clay. A few years ago, we were working in totally different environments (florentine in a communication agency and julien in the management of an indoor soccer center). After many reflections, uncertainties, researches and meetings, we decided to follow our passion and vocation, rather than a fixed path. To get started, we went back to school at the esea (ecole supérieure d'ebénisterie d'avignon) to learn traditional cabinet making. We added additional skills to our training: wood carving, gilding on wood, modeling, molding, cabinetmaking, furniture carpentry. Freshly graduated, we decide to found our workshop in marseille and quickly, we are passionate about design and the search for unique furniture. Passionate about drawing since her youth, florentine draws the general lines of the pieces and julien brings his creative touch to finalize the plans. It is through all the inspirations that surround us that we like to create: sculpture, painting, architecture, music\. As true wood lovers and respectful of the environment, we contribute to our workshop being innovative, responsible and local. It is also because we are passionate that we like to ensure the entire chain of creation (choice of suppliers, selection of wood, collaboration with local artisans \.) to offer noble materials and perfectly responsible pieces. It is through this work that our workshop has received the label artisans métiers d'arts awarded by the chamber of trades and crafts of paca. Today the workshop offers unique creations but also custom-made pieces for individuals, architects, designers and interior decorators.
