About This Piece

Large still life signed lower right P. Dolzan, depicting a large bouquet of flowers in vibrant pink hues, placed on a glass table, next to a beautiful white and blue enameled jug.
This work stands out for its great luminosity and the harmony of its colors. The artist offers a very beautiful technique and succeeds in conveying the freshness and liveliness of freshly cut flowers. This oil on canvas is surrounded by a two-tone limed frame and is decorated with a small name plaque.

Primo Dolzan is an Italian painter born in Tezze sul brenta in Veneto at the end of the 19th century. Painter of landscapes and still lifes, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes in Paris between 1933 and 1935.
