The starting point of this painting are two human bodies drawn on paper at different scales. After cutting out shapes, assembling and working on colors in advance on paper, I transferred my research to this large format, while leaving room for the spontaneity of the brush stroke, the transparency of the colors and to the arrangement of elements in the table. The main idea being to express a feeling of fragmented body with the mind, both posed, connected by the surface of the canvas. The limbs and faces like satellites lost and disconnected from each other, each having its own individuality, a personal path. Read more
