We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely sublime highly collectable, fully restored, solid Hardwood Library bookcase, collectors cabinet with original leather top. circa 1810 What a find! This is an original Library collectors cabinet dating back over 210 years. It is one of the nicest and dare I say quirkiest pieces I have ever seen. The main body has a pair of removal shelves to use as a library bookcase, either end has matching collectors cupboards with banks of drawers. The top is as mentioned the original leather hide This piece has been fully restored, any timber issues have been address, it's been lightly washed back and French polished from the ground up Dimensions: Height 72cm Width 74.5cm Depth 54cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
