Charming handmade leather dog, "Boxer" from DERU, Wiesbaden. Germany 1960s.
These little leather animals were folded and riveted by hand from just one thick piece of leather.
The animals are stamped DERU Germany.
Origami technique.
The DERU company manufactured these leather animals in the 1960s.
Each animal is unique because it was lovingly made by hand. This can be seen particularly well with boxers.
Everyone has an individual facial expression and a different shape and size.
Two additional copies are offered separately.
This model is a little smaller.
The small iconic animals now have a high collector's value, comparable to the objects by Dimitri Omersa.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
