Vintage Design

This handmade Swedish Mid-Century Modern ceramic bowl features a green, blue, brown, and dark grey glaze creating a geometric pattern. The exterior of the bowl has been decorated with a sgraffito technique that consists of fine lines carved into the background of a design through a light colored glaze down to a dark grey clay slip. It was manufactured in the small Swedish town of Alingsås in the 1960s and is marked on base. It is handmade and hand decorated.
