Henry Alken Set of 6 Lithographs from His 1817 'Discoveries' Series Set of 6 sporting lithographs by Henry Alkin(1794-1837).from his 'Discoveries' Series.Plates 2-7 inclusive.Each plate with witty 'words of wisdom' about hunting on horseback.Printed and published by S & J Fuller Temple of 34 Rathbone Place, London.All glazed and presented in gold frames.A must have for any wall of a period house or establishment. Dimensions: Frame measures 35cm across by 28.5cm. Print measures 26cm across by 19cm high. Weight: 0.8 kg Condition: Some dirt and minor staining. Could do with a professional clean. But condition is commensurate with age. Please see photos.
