Privateer's chest dating from the 18th century.
This chest with sober lines has an important weight essential for the stability on board the ships of the time.
This chest, necessary for the transport of valuable objects or documents, has a central key lock, hasp latches and solid hinges.
Surrounded by thicker rushes and side carrying handles, this chest rests on four pebbled feet.
Inside, we discover a spacious storage space painted in red, complemented by a double-bottomed floor and a lid that also conceals a compartment.
Original and sturdy, this 18th century privateer's chest will delight lovers of objects with a history.

Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
