Maneki-Neko says "Welcoming Cat", protection and fortune, in carved and polychromed wood, glass eyes, the finely executed expression. Japan, EDO period, around 1850. The representation of the subject was atypical and original because the two legs are lifted. A little lack from time to the left ear. H 48 cm x D 22 cm x L 23 cm.
