Bronze with brown patina signed Louis Vidal (1831-1892), French animal sculptor of the 19th century which became blind in its youth.

"The Taurus" is one of these most famous works. Made in 1867, this carefully carved bronze highlights the power of this animal synonymous with vitality.

Having a strong symbolism, the bull is represented here standing, his head low and turned towards the spectator.

Performed perfectly by the artist, this work will delight nature lovers and collectors.
