Vintage Design

This large glazed earthenware bowl was once used for food preparation. Called a jatte or gresale, it is partially glazed and has a pouring spout. Its specific shape was intended more for handling liquids; ideal for collecting milk cream for example. A rustic piece, with a deep and authentic experience, it will perhaps become a decorative piece, in a bohemian and wabi-sabi spirit, a large storage compartment or will be used again in the kitchen as a salad bowl or preparation dish.
The bowl is partially glazed earthenware. Very sober and old, it is a rustic Alsatian production. The pot is in good condition, some friction should be noted on the rim.

32.5cm to 35cm in diameter and 12cm in height.
