Vintage Design

Big oblong low stoneware bowl made in Denmark. Created by Danish ceramist Thomas Toft in the 1950s or 1960s.

It has a glazed inside and a rough textured exterior. The rough dark brown chamotte clay on the outside contrasts with the shiny glaze on the inside of the bowl. It shows a hand-painted geometrical design with botanical inspirations. The colors are different shades of green, brown and black.

Nice condition, no chips or cracks. Just one small spot is visible in the glaze.
