Swivel chair in steam-bent beech wood, Thonet style
The circular seat rests on a three-legged cast iron base
The fabric and padding are preserved in their late 19th century originality, otherwise the chair is in excellent condition
It has been used for decades and very limitedly as a desk chair, although the heavy cast iron base suggests a different use, probably on a boat
