Vintage Design

Commode en placage de merisier disposé en ailes de papillon en façade et à quatre-feuilles sur les côtés.
Ce meuble comprend deux tiroirs, galbés et ventrus, à traverse cachée, habillés de poignées tombantes à deux attaches avec rosaces et entrées bronze. Ils se verrouillent à l’aide de serrures d’origine fonctionnelles.
Le dessus, à bec-de-corbin, épouse parfaitement les lignes de cette commode. Celui-ci est plaqué en ailes de papillon et marqueté d’un trèfle enrubanné.
Les montants avant, très convexes, sont garnis de chutes et se terminent en léger galbe et par des sabots bronze.
Les intérieurs, de qualité, sont en acajou. Des cache-poussières complètent ce bien.
On retrouve au dos du meuble un cachet d’inventaire N°18 représentant les initiales C.C. dans une couronne.
Cette élégante petite Commode Sauteuse plaira notamment pour ses dimensions modestes. On notera la rareté de ce type de meuble à dessus bois.
