An original ’11 x 14′ lobby
card from 1977 for “Star Wars” now
known as “Star Wars: Episode IV – A
New Hope”.
Written and directed by George Lucas
and nominated in the Best
Picture category for an Oscar, the film
introduced us to Mark Hamill (as
“Luke Skywalker”), Harrison Ford (as
“Han Solo”), Carrie Fisher (as “Princess
Leia”), Anthony Daniels (as “C-3PO”).
Kenny Baker (as “R2-D2”) and a host
of actors now very familiar faces to all
movie fans.

This superb lobby card would have
been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie
theatre. It shows our heroes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo all wielding blasters as they try to escape the Death Star.

As our photo shows it is in lovely
condition and will look fantastic
framed and on the wall of any Star
Wars fan.
