Postmodern Totem Dining Chairs from Westnofa, 1980s, Set of 4

Very rare set of four minimalist dining room chairs, made in the eighties by Westnofa and designed by Thorstein Nilsen.
Chic version with red upholstery, silver-coloured tubular frame and black lacquered wood.

The pieces that we have in stock have strong similarities with the more famous Totem model, but the bases are different.

The chairs have an organically curved chrome-plated tubular frame in a sled shape.
The seat covered with red fabric rests on this.
As with the Totem model, the backrest is made from one piece of plywood, which forms the bars. The bars are kept at a distance from each other at the top with wooden balls.

One chair is in a neat, used condition, with light traces of use on the backrests (see photos). The chrome-plated parts of the undercarriage have been polished by us and look neat. The red upholstery has been carefully cleaned by us, and the foam underneath is firm. The set can be used immediately. We only sell the chairs in packs of four, not individually.
