Exceptional set of stemmed glasses from Cenedese. This once-in-a-lifetime glass set reproduces the classic 18th century Georgian twisted stem glass. The twisted shank is ruby colored beads with a single white bead inside. Cenedese wanted to recreate the look of ancient soda glass, the transparent part of the glass is in light pulegoso, with small air bubbles in the glass. This set is rare to find. For the Murano glass collector or the lover of fine glass objects Cenedese was and is one of the most important players in Murano, he had an immense collection of glasses and no one was up to his skills and abilities. He never stopped researching and experimenting, he created several museum and historical reproductions. Mostly from the Venetian classical period.
