A war-disabled veteran from the past. This approx. 200 years old tree trunk stood on a former military area and experienced a lot. It survived one or more fires and bears the scar of a shell splinter. The inside of the grenade was already decaying a long time ago, at some point it was separated from its upper part and stood there until only its hardest wood was left. From the inside it shines into its cave-like depth and at the same time casts a fascinating shadow play on the ceiling and walls. The wood has been treated with dammar varnish. A high-quality, dimmable LED, which is operated via a foot switch, serves as a light source. The textile cable is 2m long.
